I tend to wear heavy eye makeup these days, so I make it a must to use lip and eye remover every evening.
I'm starting to get scared because I can see tiny fine lines around my eyes. I've heard that removing makeup is more important than the skin itself, so I've been meticulously wiping it off with a dedicated remover, but I'm really worried that the remover itself might be the cause of these wrinkles. They say the skin around the eyes is the thinnest and most sensitive part of our body. To cleanly remove mascara and eyeliner, I tend to soak a cotton pad with remover and rub it around my eyes, and I'm concerned that the friction and irritation buildup might be causing the wrinkles. Even though I try to wipe gently, I do this every day, so I feel like it puts a huge strain on my skin; I'm extremely conscious of it every time I wash my face. How do you cleanse your eye area?
