Sharing skincare tips for these days when the hot sun is beating down.
These days, the sun beats down so intensely during the day that it hardly feels like spring; I can feel my skin turning red and getting tired very quickly. Because the UV rays are so strong, my skin is becoming severely dry from within, and my skin condition has been fluctuating wildly lately.
I was worried that my skin barrier would completely break down if I left it as it was, so lately I have been trying to strictly stick to my own soothing home care routine. First of all, to protect my skin from the hot sun during the day, I wash my face gently in the evening using a mild, slightly acidic cleanser that is as non-irritating as possible.
And my key tip is to apply a chilled hydrating and soothing mask pack from the refrigerator right after washing my face to quickly cool down the skin's heat. I've found that just controlling the heat properly definitely reduces inner dryness. After removing the mask, I apply a moisturizing cream twice as thickly as usual to lock in the moisture and prevent it from evaporating.
