This is a record of my skin condition on Saturday. Perhaps because the fatigue accumulated during the week had subsided a bit, my skin felt more stable than expected when I woke up and looked in the mirror. My overall skin tone looked much brighter, and the redness around my cheeks had subsided significantly, allowing me to start the day in a good mood. However, there was some shine around my nose and forehead due to oil rising overnight, and a few small pimples remained under my chin, so my skin was not completely clear.
Since I had more time for skincare on the weekend than usual, I gave my skin a thorough treatment starting from the morning. First, I cleansed with lukewarm water to minimize irritation, then used a low-irritation peeling toner to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. Because the skin can become sensitive after peeling, I applied a generous amount of soothing Cica ampoule and allowed it to absorb. I also made sure to apply a thicker layer of moisturizer than usual to address inner dryness. I was highly satisfied as my skin felt significantly smoother after the treatment.
I had an outing scheduled for the afternoon, so I thoroughly reapplied sunscreen and replenished moisture with a mist whenever I felt dryness. Perhaps due to the warm weather, some oiliness appeared on my T-zone as time went on, but my makeup didn't break down significantly, and my skin maintained an overall stable state. Thanks to sufficient hydration, I also felt less skin tightness than usual.
