My face keeps turning red, but I don't know if it's flushing or if I'm just sensitive.
Lately, I've been bothered by my face turning red frequently. My cheeks flush quickly, especially when I'm in hot places or when the temperature changes suddenly, but I can't tell if this is temporary or if I need to take special care of it.
I vaguely know that facial flushing is a problem with the skin's blood vessels, but I can't quite tell if it's simply because my skin is sensitive or if there is another cause. It's bothering me more lately because the redness seems to last a long time after eating spicy food or doing even a little exercise.
I'm wondering if there are any dermatological treatments or procedures that can help alleviate redness, or if the correct order is to try taking sufficient care of my sensitive skin at home first before visiting a dermatologist. If anyone has similar concerns, please feel free to share how you approached this.
