Wiping down the keyboard and mouse you use every day is better than you might think for preventing skin trouble caused by bad habits.
Are there any of you who, despite having a good skincare routine and washing your face thoroughly, strangely get recurring small pimples only around the cheek on the side where you have a habit of resting your chin or touching your face? I also have a habit of unconsciously running my hand over my face while using the computer. I suddenly got goosebumps when I realized that the office keyboard and mouse I touch every day are clogged with a surprisingly huge amount of dust and germs. Since then, I have established a routine of thoroughly wiping down the keyboard keys and mouse surfaces with rubbing alcohol swabs as soon as I arrive at work. Since getting into this habit, I feel less uncomfortable when my hands touch my face, and surprisingly, the breakouts around my cheeks have noticeably decreased. Please make sure to check the hygiene of your office computers as well.
