Try using green tea bags when your face is puffy in the morning.
I’d like to share a small personal tip for those of you whose faces swell up when you wake up in the morning. Even if I don’t eat late-night snacks, I have a body type where my face swells so much in the morning that I can barely open my eyes—perhaps due to poor blood circulation. I’ve tried cooling sticks and even frozen spoons, but the method I’ve settled on is using leftover green tea bags. The evening before, I drink a cup of warm green tea, place the remaining tea bag in a small airtight container, and put it in the refrigerator before going to sleep. The next morning, before washing my face, I take out the chilled tea bag and gently rub it mainly on my eyelids and jawline. Perhaps due to the soothing properties of the green tea, I feel like the swelling goes down much faster than when I just use an ice pack. It’s free since I can recycle tea bags that would otherwise be thrown away, and it’s great for soothing the skin, so it has become a daily routine that I do without fail.
