Now that the humidity is rising, my base makeup is all clumping up and it's a total mess.
Perhaps because it rained today and the humidity in the air is high, my skin has felt stuffy and sticky since this morning, as if it can't breathe. Even though I followed my usual skincare routine, nothing absorbed and felt like it was just sitting on the surface, which made me incredibly annoyed while applying makeup. Because of the high humidity, my pores looked much more prominent than usual, and when I looked in the mirror at lunchtime, my foundation was clumping up so badly that I wanted to wipe it all off with a wet tissue. On rainy or humid days, you should drastically reduce your skincare steps or apply a thin layer of light hydrating gel, but I really should blame myself for applying heavy products without checking the weather properly. Tonight, as soon as I get home, I plan to thoroughly double cleanse, leave nothing on my face except lightly place a toner pad, and get a good rest so my skin can breathe.
