I think UV protection is indispensable for skincare. Since UV rays cause skin aging and problems such as blemishes and freckles, applying sunscreen before going out is a must!
Since UV rays enter through windows or fluorescent lights even when you are indoors, you need to get into the habit of using sunscreen consistently.
(But it is a bit stuffy having to apply it even indoors🥲)
Additionally, regularly using a scrub or exfoliator to remove dead skin cells from the surface makes the skin smoother and improves the absorption of cosmetics. However, excessive exfoliation can damage the skin barrier, so doing it about once or twice a week is sufficient.
(I used to do this often, but my skin became sensitive, so I suffered for a while.)
Most people know by now that consistently taking care of sun protection and exfoliation can help you maintain healthy, elastic skin for a long time, but I think the important thing is to actually practice it consistently.😊
