Applying too much highly nourishing cream isn't good either, right?
Lately, my skin has felt so dry and rough, so I bought a new highly nourishing cream to properly address anti-aging and hydration. I've been applying it generously, but starting a few days ago, tiny bumps and pimples have been popping up on my face, and it’s driving me crazy. Since I spent a lot of money on this cream, I applied a thick layer every night like a face mask before going to sleep, thinking it would be good for my skin. It’s so shocking and upsetting to have this unexpected breakout.
I thought that since my skin is dry, replenishing it with nutrients would make it firm and smooth, but it seems my skin can't handle it.
As if trying to nourish my skin wasn't enough, it has actually made my texture messier and bumpier. I just sigh deeply every time I look in the mirror, and even when I try to cover it up with makeup, it just cakes and flakes off, so the stress is off the charts. I can't just stop using it because it feels like a waste, but I'm also scared that applying it thickly will cause the tiny bumps to spread all over my face. It's a hopeless situation.
