I'm writing down my skin condition these days (Skin is really tough during the changing seasons).
The weather has been fluctuating between sudden heat and dryness lately, so my skin feels different every day. I'm writing this post to keep a record. I didn't used to think I had particularly sensitive skin, but recently, the redness on my cheeks and the internal dryness feel much worse. Even though my skin looks fine in the morning, by the afternoon it feels tight and my makeup seems to cake a bit, which is really stressing me out. So these days, I'm trying to minimize irritating products and focus on soothing and moisturizing.
In particular, my skin feels very tight immediately after washing my face, so I apply toner in multiple layers and am using my hydrating ampoule and cream a bit more thoroughly than usual. In the past, I used to frequently switch between trendy products, but now I feel it is better to stick to familiar ones until my skin stabilizes. Also, since lack of sleep shows immediately on my skin, I am making sure to pay close attention to my sleep schedule as much as possible.
Lately, I’ve been realizing that skin is really affected by even the smallest daily habits. It feels like things like how much water I drink, sleep, and stress are connected to my skin condition more than I thought. Even if I don't see dramatic improvements right away, I am trying to restore my skin by consistently doing basic care. How is your skin condition these days, everyone?
