My own skincare principles developed through consistent practice
I feel like my skin has changed a lot since I started taking care of it. At first, I felt like I had to do a lot of things and try everything that was said to be good, but now I’ve realized that simplifying is actually the right approach.
There are three things I absolutely never skip in my current routine: washing my face with water in the morning, double cleansing in the evening, and sunscreen. I have personally experienced a noticeable difference in my skin condition just by consistently sticking to these three things. I adjust the rest based on my skin condition that day, and I have also learned that getting a check-up and personalized care at a dermatologist about once a month is much more effective than adding anything extra at home.
Rather than having some special method, I think the most efficient approach is ultimately sticking to the basics while appropriately combining them with expert help. That is my personal conclusion.
