I'm sharing my personal 3-step nighttime home care routine to perform CPR on my tired skin all day long.
Lately, perhaps due to severe fine dust and stress, my skin looks dull and dry by evening, so I am putting a lot of effort into home care. Since I can't go to an aesthetic salon every day, I decided to take proper care of my skin at home, so I’d like to introduce my own secret 3-step night care routine that I’ve settled on.
The first step is to cleanse very gently with a mildly acidic cleanser. I’ve found that if your skin barrier is compromised, no matter how good the products you apply are, it’s useless. Immediately after washing, before your skin dries, apply a hydrating ampoule three times using an absorbent toner instead of a wipe-off to fully replenish moisture from within. The final step is truly important: instead of just applying cream, mix exactly one drop of face oil into your regenerating cream and apply it by gently wrapping your skin with the warmth of your palms. Doing this maintains the moisture barrier until the next morning, and you'll notice a completely different skin texture when you wash your face.
I'm currently participating in the Skin Generation Fairy Challenge, so I feel a bit shy, but I wrote down my own little tips. I'm curious to know how everyone does their evening home care. I think your skin never lets you down, as long as you put in the effort and layer your products properly. Let's all put in a little extra care at home to achieve glowing skin.
