I'm curious how everyone is taking care of their skin these days.
Yesterday, for the first time in a long while, I visited a cafe that's been trending on Instagram. I thought it would be great for taking photos because of the floor-to-ceiling windows letting in plenty of sunlight and the bright lighting. However, when I actually looked in the mirror, I was upset because the condition of my face was so clearly visible. I thought I was taking care of my skin at home, but looking under the lights, my skin texture was revealed so starkly that I was flustered. My makeup looked cakey, and my pores seemed more prominent than usual, so I kept worrying about it. My friends next to me had skin that looked as smooth as porcelain, to the point where I wanted to ask them what their secret was. With the change of seasons, dryness has definitely worsened compared to before, and I feel like simply doing a face mask once isn't enough for proper skincare. Even when I try layering multiple basic skincare products, my skin feels hydrated only temporarily, and I quickly feel dryness from within as soon as it passes, which is a concern. Do you all go to salons for professional treatments in addition to home care, or is there a specific skincare line that is particularly effective? It feels like now is the time to really pay attention to my skin systematically. What routine do you consider most important for smooth skin texture? I would be really grateful if you could share any tips, even small ones.
