I'm curious about reviews regarding full face hair removal.

Even though I am a woman, I have a lot of facial hair all over my face. I have hair growing on my philtrum, forehead, cheeks, and chin—not quite to the level of a man, but enough to require shaving. My concern is that cushion foundation or regular foundation cakes easily, and the hair makes my skin tone look darker. The price for a single full-face hair removal session was more expensive than I expected. Can the hair be completely removed with just one session? I am curious about the effects of hair removal from the forehead to the chin. How painful is the procedure? When I went to the dermatology clinic, I saw a white cream being applied to the person getting the hair removal, except around the eyes and mouth; what is that? If anyone has had facial hair removal done, please let me know.
