Does Clarity have blemish-covering effects even on blemishes that cannot be covered by makeup?

In the past, small blemishes around my cheeks were almost completely covered just by applying cushion foundation, but lately, a few spots show through even with makeup, so I am concerned about Clarity Blemish.
I can cover them up with concealer, but I don't want to wear thick makeup every day, so I think it might be better to just take care of my skin itself. Rather than large pigmented spots like melasma, I tend to have small brown spots here and there.
In this case, would Clarity be effective for blemishes? I am also curious whether Clarity is more effective the more vivid the pigmentation is, or if it can be performed even at a lighter stage.
I would like to know if I can apply makeup immediately after receiving Clarity Blemish Treatment, and if the pigmented areas might temporarily darken or scabs might form.
