Please let me know of treatments that help with melasma management in the fall.
Now that summer is over, it feels like the dark spots on my face have gotten much darker. Even though I applied sunscreen meticulously during the summer, the spots on my cheeks and around my cheekbones are more noticeable. Perhaps because it is the change of seasons, my skin tone looks dull overall, and even when I apply makeup, it doesn't feel like they are covered as cleanly as they used to.
I've heard that melasma is difficult to manage once it appears, so I'm thinking of getting a dermatological procedure this time, but I'm not sure which treatment to look into first. It seems like procedures like Pico Toning or Laser Toning are commonly used for melasma, but I'm curious to know which treatments were helpful for those who have actually received them.
I am looking for a treatment that allows for consistent care with minimal strain on the skin, rather than a sudden, complete disappearance. Please let me know about treatments commonly received for melasma management during seasonal changes, the appropriate treatment frequency, and precautions to take after the procedure!

- 01CommentsI heard that the interval for Pico Toning is determined differently depending on your skin condition and the type of pigmentation. If you are worried about getting treatments too frequently, ask them to set the interval based on your skin type during the consultation, and also inquire at which session you want to check your progress. They say it is really important to be meticulous about sun protection after the procedure!410026.10.22

- 03CommentsI see that you are looking into my mother's skin concerns on her behalf. Since even blemishes that look similar on the surface need to be identified as specific types first, I am curious about your consultation criteria. Although I have no experience with procedures, would it be helpful to discuss my usual sun protection habits and available schedule during the consultation?410026.10.08
