I'm concerned about freckles and blemishes. Would it be okay to get laser treatment in the fall?
Now that summer is over and I look in the mirror, the freckles and blemishes on my face seem more noticeable than before, so I have been looking into laser treatments lately. I already had a few small blemishes, but perhaps because I spent a lot of time outdoors during the summer, the pigmentation around my cheeks looks darker. They are covered to some extent with makeup, but lately, it bothers me every time I see my face without makeup.
I have some areas of slight discoloration, particularly on both cheeks, but I am not sure if they are just blemishes or melasma. When I search online, I find a lot of information stating that the appropriate laser varies depending on the type of pigmentation, so it is difficult for me to decide on my own. Rather than blindly undergoing a strong treatment, I would like to have my skin condition assessed first and choose the method that is right for me.
I have heard that autumn or winter are good seasons for laser treatments, and I am curious if post-treatment care actually varies significantly depending on the season. I have also heard that special attention must be paid to UV protection after the procedure, so I would like to know how much care is required when going out. Since I work, I am concerned about procedures that might cause scabs or prolonged redness, so I am wondering if the recovery period varies greatly depending on the specific treatment.
Since this is my first time getting laser treatment, I think it is important to accurately check my skin condition and the type of pigmentation during the consultation. If anyone else started laser treatments this fall for melasma or blemishes, I am curious to know what you discussed first. I would also like to know if the number of treatments or the intervals vary from person to person, and whether it is a one-time procedure or if consistent care is required.

- 01CommentsI heard that the interval for Pico Toning is determined differently depending on your skin condition and the type of pigmentation. If you are worried about getting treatments too frequently, ask them to set the interval based on your skin type during the consultation, and also inquire at which session you want to check your progress. They say it is really important to be meticulous about sun protection after the procedure!1800026.10.22
- 02CommentsI suppose you'd be curious about the recovery time if you're getting it done after work and going to work the next day, haha. Try asking them to examine the pigmentation on your cheekbones and the side of your nose separately. It would be good to schedule an appointment after hearing if the same method is possible and when you should apply makeup.240026.10.22

- 03CommentsI see that you are looking into my mother's skin concerns on her behalf. Since even blemishes that look similar on the surface need to be identified as specific types first, I am curious about your consultation criteria. Although I have no experience with procedures, would it be helpful to discuss my usual sun protection habits and available schedule during the consultation?420026.10.08
