Lately, dark stubble keeps appearing on my philtrum and chin. Would laser hair removal be okay?

Hello, I am a male office worker in my mid-30s. My skin tends to be on the oily side, so I have always been conscious of the pores on my nose and cheeks. However, lately, what has been bothering me more than ever is my chin and philtrum. Even though I shave cleanly in the morning, dark, shadow-like marks remain in the mirror when I enter an afternoon meeting. It’s not like I haven't shaved at all, but the marks just feel so distinct, so I was quite flustered.

After giving it some thought, I realized that shaving almost every day might irritate the hair follicles, causing my skin to look duller than before. If I look closely, my pores also appear more prominent. I often take photos with colleagues, and when I zoom in, my jawline looks particularly dull, which bothers me.

I looked online and found that some people use laser hair removal to manage both stubble and follicle irritation. I am wondering if it is quite effective for male office workers like me who shave every day. I would also like to ask how many sessions are typically required to noticeably lighten shaving marks, and if there are any special precautions to take for areas with thin skin, such as the chin and philtrum.

My skin seems more sensitive than usual, perhaps due to the changing seasons. I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there is any special moisturizing care I need to pay attention to or things I should avoid before and after laser treatment. I want to get everything neatly organized before the end-of-year gatherings after autumn. I would also like to hear experiences from those who have received consultations.
