I want to remove a mole on my face. Will it leave a big scar?
I've had a few moles on my face for a while, but I never really paid much attention to them. However, lately they stand out especially when I take photos or apply makeup, so I'm thinking about getting them removed. I have some small ones as well as some darker, raised ones, and I'm wondering if the removal process is different for these types. I've also heard stories about people being left with scars after mole removal, so I'm a bit worried. Since it's on my face, I think I would be even more self-conscious if a scar were left.
If I get a mole removed at a dermatology clinic, does it usually disappear in a single session? I’ve heard that deep moles require multiple sessions, so I’m curious about the criteria used to determine the number of treatments. I would also like to know if scabs form after the procedure, and when I can wash my face or apply makeup. Are there specific ways to care for the skin to prevent hyperpigmentation after removal? I would appreciate reviews from those who have had facial moles removed, as well as responses from clinic staff.

- 01CommentsI heard that the interval for Pico Toning is determined differently depending on your skin condition and the type of pigmentation. If you are worried about getting treatments too frequently, ask them to set the interval based on your skin type during the consultation, and also inquire at which session you want to check your progress. They say it is really important to be meticulous about sun protection after the procedure!1080026.10.22

- 03CommentsI see that you are looking into my mother's skin concerns on her behalf. Since even blemishes that look similar on the surface need to be identified as specific types first, I am curious about your consultation criteria. Although I have no experience with procedures, would it be helpful to discuss my usual sun protection habits and available schedule during the consultation?420026.10.08
