How do you determine the treatment cycle for melasma on dry and sensitive skin?
I have naturally dry skin that tends to become sensitive easily during seasonal changes, and I am also constantly concerned about the melasma that appeared after pregnancy. I am worried that starting intense treatment immediately upon noticing the melasma might worsen my dryness, so while I am looking into treatments, I am struggling to decide when I should begin. I have never received melasma treatment before.
When I receive a consultation for melasma treatment at Maypure, do you check the skin's moisture level, sensitivity, and the pattern of pigmentation spread? I am also wondering if there is a method to soothe and moisturize first and proceed with laser treatment later on days when my skin condition is poor.
I would like to know if the treatment cycle for melasma varies from person to person depending on their skin's recovery speed, and if the intervals are longer for dry skin. Please also let me know how to adjust the next cycle if irritation or dryness occurs after starting treatment.

- 02CommentsIf this is your first laser treatment, I imagine you are concerned not only about the pain but also about your schedule afterward. It would be helpful to mention during the consultation that you have a low pain tolerance and to confirm if the procedure can be paused temporarily if you experience discomfort. Before an important appointment, I would also like to be informed of the guidelines for contacting them if redness persists, in addition to the average recovery period.180026.10.22

Please make sure to check during your consultation how much redness or irritation will occur immediately after the procedure, and whether makeup can be applied on the same day. - 02CommentsFor your first visit, it would be easier to schedule if you check the consultation, preparation, and soothing care separately, in addition to the procedure time. When making the reservation, it would be helpful to ask if it is possible to have just the consultation first, and also when to reapply sunscreen after returning home.250026.10.19
- 03CommentsI imagine you must be quite self-conscious if the condition cannot be covered well even with makeup. I haven't received the treatment myself yet, so I cannot provide a review, but I would like to confirm what timeframe is used to confirm that the claim of improvement without recurrence is based. It would also be helpful to ask the clinic if the care methods or recovery periods differ when consulting about both the eye area and the cheeks together.220026.10.18
