Even after the procedure, thin, black scabs appeared over the blemishes that weren't there when I had the treatment before. However, as you explained, I waited without intentionally picking at them or irritating the area, and they all fell off in a week. The noticeably dark blemishes really faded.
Although it is still faintly visible, since the procedure originally requires at least three sessions, I plan to go back for one more treatment.
