It made me feel so bad to see my mom sighing so much while looking in the mirror lately, ever since she passed her 60th birthday.
She usually isn't very concerned about her appearance, but lately she's been upset because the dark spots on her cheekbones are really bothering her, so I decided to treat her to a dermatologist this time!
Since she is older and has thin skin, I was scared of really harsh lasers, but after the consultation, I was told that Pico Toning is less irritating while effectively targeting pigmentation, so I paid for it right away haha.
My mom was really nervous at first, thinking it might hurt, but after actually getting it, she was relieved to find it more bearable than she expected.
Seeing how happy you looked coming out after your first session yesterday, saying your complexion already looked brighter, made me think I should have done this for you sooner haha.
Of course, the melasma won't magically disappear after just one Pico Toning session, but if I take her for treatments consistently, I think it will definitely help restore my mom's self-esteem.
I've heard that while the procedure itself is important, aftercare is the real key... If anyone has taken their parents for Pico Toning, could you share some tips on how to manage it?
Please recommend some effective and non-irritating regenerating creams or sunscreens for my mom! I really want to earn some brownie points this time haha.
