I finally tried Pico Toning. My honest first review.
I previously posted that I was starting to get worried about my melasma, so I finally mustered up the courage to go to a dermatologist for a consultation and get Pico Toning! It was my very first time getting a laser treatment, so I was really nervous, but thankfully the consultation went more comfortably than I expected.
After examining my skin pigmentation, they suggested that Pico Toning would be a good fit, so I booked an appointment right away and received the treatment. During the procedure, it felt a bit like being snapped by a rubber band, but it was closer to a stimulating sensation than extremely painful. It also finished much faster than I expected.
Immediately after the procedure, my skin was a bit red and felt warm, but it had almost completely subsided by evening. The next morning, after washing my face, I felt like my skin tone had become clearer. I was told that melasma doesn't disappear all at once and that the effects accumulate only with consistent treatment, so I plan to continue getting treatments at one-month intervals. For a first-time experience, it exceeded my expectations.
