Does the effect of the weight loss injection start with a feeling of reduced appetite?

Lately, while looking into starting weight management again, I became interested in weight loss injections. I have lost weight a few times before through diet and exercise, but the problem is that I keep repeating the pattern of doing well for the first month or two and then gradually losing focus due to hunger.

So this time, I am thinking of getting a consultation at the hospital, and if it is really necessary, I might consider weight loss injections as well.

What I am most curious about is how one actually feels the effects of weight loss injections. Does weight loss not occur immediately after getting the injection, but rather does one's appetite or food intake change first, and then weight change occur as a result?

I tend to crave late-night snacks especially when I get hungry in the evening, so I think it would be much easier to maintain my diet if I could get a little more at ease with that aspect.

That said, I don't want to lose my appetite to the point where I can't eat at all. I would like to be able to eat normally, but just have the urge to overeat like before diminish.

Does the timing of when the effects of the weight loss injections begin to show vary greatly from person to person? I am curious if some people feel changes in their appetite from the first week, while others need some time to feel the effects.

And I'm also curious if people often notice their hunger or cravings for snacks decreasing before they even notice the number on the scale.

For those of you who have used weight loss injections, what was the first change you noticed?

I’d like to hear your honest experience on whether your appetite naturally decreased, making it easier to control your portion sizes, or if there wasn’t as much of a change as you expected.
