My skin has been so dry and dull lately, so I went to get a Juve Look treatment.
📌 1. Visited Branch: "Maypure Hwajeong Branch"
Hi. Maybe it's the weather lately, but my face feels so dry and I feel like I've lost a lot of elasticity, so I just sigh every time I look in the mirror. I've tried drinking plenty of water and switched all my basic skincare products to expensive ones, but no matter how much I applied, it felt like the dryness deep inside my skin just wouldn't go away. So, I searched through communities and beauty forums like crazy, and since so many people seem to be finding this place effective these days, I finally mustered up the courage to go there myself.
First off, during the consultation, the director carefully examined my skin condition and told me that what I needed right now was something that addresses inner dryness while promoting collagen production. So, I decided on Juvelook without hesitation. To be honest, I had read so many stories about how painful it is before the procedure that I was trembling like crazy while waiting with the numbing cream applied. However, once I actually got through it, although it was enough to bring a tear to my eye, the director kept talking to me and helping me relax, so I was able to get through it safely.
Right after the procedure, my face looked bumpy and uneven, so I put on a mask and ran straight home haha. There was some redness too, but thankfully, it completely subsided after a few days. It's been about two weeks now, and I think the Juvelook effect is truly amazing. Even the texture of my skin feels different to the touch when I wash my face in the morning, and the way my makeup applies has completely changed. Before, my skin would darken severely by the afternoon, and my foundation would cake around my nasolabial folds, but now my skin has a subtle glow until I get off work, which is so fascinating.
You know how they say it's best to get treatments like this consistently. I loved my first Juvelook session so much that I'm thinking of booking a full three sessions at one-month intervals. If you have thin skin, lots of fine lines, and severe internal dryness like me, I really want to highly recommend Juvelook. Of course, you have to be prepared for some pain, but seeing the changes every time I look in the mirror makes it well worth it haha. I'll be back next month to post about how long the embossing lasts after my second session!
