I'm worried about acne scars and enlarged pores. Would Juvelook be better than Fraxel?
I have scars left on the area where I used to get severe acne, so I'm looking into dermatological treatments these days.
In particular, the pores on both cheeks are widely spread, and if you look closely, the skin is indented in places, so even when I apply makeup, the skin texture doesn't look smooth.
It's stressful because even when I try to cover it up with concealer or primer, the uneven areas actually stand out more under the lighting.
At first, I was considering the Fraxel laser, which is famous for treating acne scars, but after looking up reviews, I saw comments saying that redness lasted a long time after the procedure or that peeling and scabbing formed, making daily life uncomfortable.
My skin is on the sensitive side, so I'm a bit hesitant about receiving strong laser treatments repeatedly.
Then, I became interested after hearing that Juvelook induces collagen production and is used to improve skin texture and pitted scars.
However, I am curious about the actual difference between Juvelook and Fraxel in terms of acne scar improvement effects.
If it is simply a matter of enlarged pores, can I expect satisfactory changes with Juvelook alone? Or, for deep scars, I would like to know if combining it with laser or other scar treatments would yield better results.
I particularly want to focus on managing the sunken areas on my cheeks, and I am curious if the skin feels like it is gradually filling in if Juvelook is injected directly into the scarred areas.
Pain is also an important factor. There are many reviews saying that Fraxel stings and burns during the procedure, but since Juvelook is administered via injection, I think there might be a different kind of pain.
I would like to hear from those who have experienced it regarding whether the procedure is tolerable if anesthetic cream is applied, and how much bruising or embossing marks remain afterward.
Cost is important, but since I need to get the treatment multiple times, I want to find a method that is gentle on the skin while still allowing me to see noticeable changes.
