인모드는 역시 FX랑 포마 같이 패키지로 받아야 라인 정돈이랑 탄력 개선 효과가 확실한 것 같아요
I'm leaving a genuine review after recently getting InMode FX and Forma together (I'll write about the pain, bruising, and effects in detail).
Hi haha. Lately, I've been so stressed about my jawline sagging every time I look in the mirror that I finally decided to get InMode treatment and went to the clinic. I don't actually have a lot of fat on my face to begin with, but since entering my 30s, I've felt like my cheek fat and the skin under my chin are constantly sagging, perhaps due to the effects of gravity ㅠㅠ. Especially when I saw a subtle double chin showing up in photos, I realized that home care alone wouldn't solve this, so I immediately booked an appointment at a dermatology clinic.
When I met with the consultation manager and the director, they mentioned that since I don't have a lot of fat all over my face, using the FX mode on my whole face could cause hollowing in my cheeks. So, they designed the plan to remove unnecessary fat only from my deep cheeks and double chin line using the FX mode, while using the Forma mode on my entire face to help stimulate collagen production in the dermis and improve elasticity. The director examined my face shape very thoroughly, so I felt relieved for now.
To be honest, looking at reviews on YouTube and online communities, I saw so many comments saying InMode is "hellish pain" and too painful that I debated hundreds of times whether to cancel or not right before I went. When I lay down with the numbing cream on, I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. Once I actually got the treatment, the FX version felt like a vacuum cleaner sucking my skin in, followed by a sharp tingling sensation from the high-frequency heat at the end. It wasn't an unbearable burning pain, but it felt like smearing unpleasantly hot hot sauce on my face and then ironing it on. Haha. It really did hurt. Especially when they went near my jawline close to the bone, I found myself tearing up without even realizing it. Still, I told myself I had to endure this much to become beautiful, so I clenched my fists tightly and held it in. On the other hand, the Poma felt just like getting a facial massage with warm stones; there was absolutely no pain, and I actually felt so relaxed that I almost fell asleep.
It has been exactly about two weeks since my procedure, and I am extremely satisfied with the results!! First off, when I touch my jawline while washing my face in the morning, I can feel with my fingertips that the line is noticeably sharper than before. The shadows under my chin, which were a concern for me, have also cleared up a lot, so I really enjoy taking selfies these days haha. The bruising on my neck and jawline lasted for about four days, looking like red blood bruises, but it was mild enough to be covered by dabbing with concealer, so it didn't interfere with my daily life much. The director advised that I should receive InMode about three times at intervals of three weeks to a month to prolong the maintenance and ensure the effects truly settle, so I am preparing to pay for my second session as soon as my paycheck comes in next month – I’m getting ready to defend my wallet ㅠㅠ If anyone is considering InMode because of sagging jawline fat or deep cheek fat, please don't be too afraid of the pain and I highly recommend giving it a try at least once. I'm also curious how everyone manages jawline elasticity at home, aside from clinic procedures! Would using things like Gua Sha consistently be effective? I would appreciate it if you could share any information haha.
