I keep getting breakout marks on my chin. Which would be better, extraction treatment or LDM?
Lately, small breakouts keep popping up and subsiding on my chin and the tip of my jaw, but strangely, the marks don't seem to go away and remain. I wonder if it's because I often just wash my face haphazardly while dropping off and picking up my child at school and heading to work, or if it might be stress-related. I usually don't touch my jawline, but lately, it feels like red marks are piling up in layers, so it's really bothering me.
I looked it up online and saw that there are methods to clear up and soothe the skin first through extraction, as well as methods using LDM to reduce redness and inflammation without irritation. I'm not sure which one is right for me. My breakouts aren't severe, but they tend to leave marks, so I'm debating whether it's best to start with extraction or to soothe the skin first with a gentle LDM.
For someone like me with sensitive skin who gets breakouts easily, I would be really grateful if anyone who has consulted at Maypure could share their experience on what order of treatments is best. It is hard for me to make time on weekdays, so I am looking into weekend appointments, but I am posting this to find out in advance.

- 01CommentsIt seems we're similar in that you're thinking of visiting after work. I'm curious about this too, as it looks like it will take quite a while if I have to do the extraction and soothing. I also need to break the habit of touching it with my hands, but it's not easy.150026.10.23
- 02CommentsI can relate because the bumps on my chin pop back up just as they go in. Since you are going after work, I am also curious about the procedure time and the level of redness on the day of the treatment. I will refer to your reply once it is posted.160026.10.23
- 03CommentsI heard that the management approach for new breakouts and existing blemishes may differ. During the consultation, it would be helpful to ask which areas of your skin should be addressed first and how many sessions are required to monitor progress, as this will aid in creating a treatment plan.210026.10.23
