My chin feels bumpy; could it be due to sebum?

턱밑이 오돌토돌한데 피지 때문일까요?

I am writing to inquire because lately, when I touch the area under my chin, it feels bumpy, and I seem to be producing more sebum than I expected. Even after washing my face thoroughly, the area under my chin becomes shiny quickly, and if I look closely, I can see small sebum plugs or tiny bumps. Sometimes it bothers me, so I try pressing on them with my fingers, but they turn red or leave marks, so I am trying to avoid touching them as much as possible these days. I don't tend to get acne around my chin often, but I constantly feel like sebum is building up, so I'm not sure how to manage it. I have tried using exfoliating products and sebum-controlling cosmetics, but I haven't noticed any significant difference. I am curious whether this sebum under my chin is simply a problem of excessive sebum production, or if it is caused by clogged pores or dead skin cells. I would like to ask dermatologists how they manage or treat sebum under the chin, and whether it is safe to receive treatments such as extractions or scaling.
