I'm curious about the effectiveness of acne treatment. Would it be okay to start with a consultation?

I haven't had any major skin issues so far, so I've only been managing it at home by washing my face and moisturizing. However, recently I've been concerned about small blemishes and bumps around my cheeks that look like millet seeds, so I am looking into acne treatment.

Since I have almost no experience with professional acne care at a dermatology clinic, I’m not sure where to start. When I search online, there are so many types, such as extractions and peeling, that it’s hard to determine what my skin actually needs.

Can I expect effective acne treatment for concerns like this? I am wondering if acne treatment is only necessary for severe cases, or if it is worth consulting even for someone like me who experiences recurring minor breakouts. Would it be okay if I just explain my current skin concerns during my first visit without deciding on a specific procedure in advance?

I would also like to know if it is possible to identify which areas require extraction and which do not after assessing my skin condition before starting acne treatment. Rather than undergoing a multitude of procedures unconditionally, I would like to start with the care my skin actually needs. I would appreciate it if I could also receive a consultation regarding the recovery period after treatment and daily home care methods.
