Red marks linger for a long time after acne subsides. Can we manage this together?

여드름이 가라앉고 나면 붉은 흔적이 오래 남는데 같이 관리할 수 있을까요?

New breakouts are stressful, but I'm more bothered by the red marks left behind after they subside.
The breakouts themselves subside to some extent over time, but the marks linger longer than expected, so even if no new ones appear, my skin still feels like it looks bad.
So in the past, I used to just wait, thinking they would go away with time, but these days, just as one disappears, another one appears, so it looks like the red marks keep accumulating.
Even when I try to cover it up with makeup, it doesn't hide it completely cleanly. In fact, applying multiple layers makes my skin texture look even rougher, so lately I've become a bit of a hassle with doing my makeup lol.
In this case, when receiving acne treatment, are the current breakouts and remaining marks managed together?
Or I am wondering if it is generally better to stabilize the skin first to prevent new acne breakouts and then manage blemishes.
I find it overwhelming to try to do too many things at once, so I want to set an order and manage them slowly.
And I'm wondering if there are cases where it's better to wait without touching the skin for the red marks.
I haven't really touched my skin recently because I was worried that using too many exfoliating or functional products to get rid of it quickly might make it even more sensitive.
For those of you who have received acne skin care, did you focus on reducing the number of blemishes first?
Have any of you felt that after a few months, the traces are less noticeable than before?
I'm not expecting my skin to be completely clear, but I just hope the recurring breakouts of new acne and the constant overlapping red marks decrease a little.
For those of you who started managing your skin with similar concerns, please share your experiences and the order in which you proceeded.
