No matter how many times I change my cosmetics, my acne keeps recurring. Should I start getting professional skin care now?
I feel like I've just been changing my cosmetics for the past few months lol
At first, I thought the cleanser didn't suit me, so I changed it. Then, I thought the moisturizer was too heavy, so I changed it again, and I also tried adding a product that is good for soothing.
The problem is that no matter what I change, it seems fine for the first few days, but eventually, the breakouts come back.
As a result, the number of unused products at home just keeps increasing.
I’m looking into acne skincare because I feel like I need to properly check my skin condition itself, rather than just the issue being a single cosmetic product.
When I go for acne treatment for the first time, is it helpful to mention what products I usually use?
Honestly, I think I used so many products that I'm actually starting to wonder if my skin is just tired.
I thought applying a lot of different products morning and evening would help, but lately, the opposite is happening, and I'm even wondering if I should reduce the number of steps.
I am curious if receiving treatment at a dermatology clinic allows them to assess my current skin condition and simplify my home care routine to some extent.
I also want to check if I have any bad habits regarding basic things like facial cleansing or moisturizing.
I'm also wondering if it's better to maintain a similar routine for a while without trying out various new cosmetics once I start getting acne treatments.
I tend to switch to a different product immediately if things get even slightly worse, so I think that might actually have been the problem haha.
Rather than judging immediately after receiving treatment once or twice, you would need to try it in the same way for a certain period to see if your skin stabilizes, right?
Are there any of you who, like me, kept switching cosmetics like a nomad until you finally started taking care of your acne-prone skin?
Now that I've received it, I'm wondering if maintaining just the basics was actually more helpful than adding products.
Now, before buying new cosmetics again, I want to get a consultation first.

- 01CommentsSince the management of recurring breakouts around the chin varies depending on the cause, it would be helpful to take notes on when the condition worsens, the cosmetics you use, and your lifestyle patterns when you visit for your initial consultation. If you mention in advance that you have dry skin and are concerned about irritation, they will be able to guide you accordingly.200026.10.22
- 02CommentsWhen comparing prices, it would be helpful to request a breakdown of the basic package and optional items per session. Please check which items are included—such as diagnostic imaging, consultation, extraction, anti-inflammatory injections, and prescriptions—and verify if medication costs and VAT are separate. For packages, it would be convenient to compare options under the same conditions if you were informed of the session-specific composition, usage period, and settlement criteria for changing the plan midway.330026.10.22
- 03CommentsIf redness recurs even after extraction, it is recommended that you first consult a doctor to examine your current inflammatory condition and the cause of the recurrence, rather than simply comparing satisfaction reviews. Be sure to receive an explanation regarding the purpose of scaling, extraction, and prescription, as well as the specific items needed at this time. Also, ask when the progress will be evaluated after each session. Before selecting a package, checking the composition of each session, expected irritation, and guidelines for contacting the doctor if your skin becomes redder or painful will help you establish a proper care plan.170026.10.22
