Do you feel the effects of acne treatment starting from a reduction in new breakouts?

I don't know how many times a day I look in the mirror these days because of my skin. Just when I think one pimple has calmed down, a new one pops up a few days later, and my skin never stays completely clear for long. In the past, I used to just brush it off as a matter of my physical condition, but since this pattern has been repeating for months, I'm starting to think I should get proper acne treatment.

What I am most curious about is the order in which the acne treatment shows results. I am wondering if the existing breakouts subside quickly first, or if the frequency of new breakouts decreases as I continue receiving treatment consistently for a while.

Honestly, the constant stream of new stuff is more stressful than the few things I already have. I feel fine in the morning, but then a few days later I see something new and my mood just plummets.

When I start acne treatment, does the management approach change slightly depending on my skin condition? I am curious if the process involves first stabilizing the breakouts when they are severe, and then later shifting toward reducing the recurrence of breakouts.

I don't expect to be perfectly better right away after just one or two sessions. However, I am curious if it takes a few sessions to notice that the breakouts are definitely less severe compared to before.

For those of you who have consistently received acne treatment, what change did you notice first? I'm curious if the frequency of new breakouts decreased, or if you felt your skin stabilizing overall. :)

Rather than expecting dramatic results, I think I would be satisfied if the daily stress caused by my skin condition were reduced just a little. Please share your experience on how long it took to actually feel the effects of the acne treatment.
