How many treatment sessions are required to see results from the acne treatment?

I am considering acne treatment because I keep getting small bumps and breakouts around my cheeks. I am wondering how many sessions I need.

Since I don't have severe inflammatory acne, it is difficult to determine from the start whether I need multiple treatments. I would like to know if the small blemishes I currently have clear up to some extent with just one session, or if I need to receive treatments consistently for a certain period to prevent new breakouts.

Does the effectiveness of acne treatment vary significantly depending on skin condition or the type of breakout? I am wondering if it is possible to determine the number of additional sessions after checking the skin's reaction following a single treatment for someone receiving acne treatment for the first time. My cheeks tend to dry out easily, so repeating extractions or exfoliation at very short intervals is a bit burdensome.

I would also like to know how long it is generally recommended to space out treatments if I undergo acne therapy. I am curious whether I need to continue regular care once my skin has stabilized, or if there are cases where it is sufficient to consult only when problems arise. I would like to create a realistic and sustainable care plan.
