For square jaw Botox consultations, do you check facial width and chewing function together?
Scheduled branch to visit: Maypure Mokdong branch
I am curious if chewing function is assessed along with facial width when considering square jaw Botox. I suspect that a wide-looking jaw isn't solely due to muscle. I would like to know if the assessment is made by comparing the prominent areas when clenching the teeth with the facial shape when relaxed, and what the consultation process entails.
Even though my jaw looks angular in photos, it is difficult for me to distinguish how much the bone structure, fat, and muscle each contribute to the result. Therefore, I would like a realistic explanation regarding the potential reduction range. Rather than expecting my entire face to become slimmer after the procedure, I want to first verify if reducing muscle is the right approach for my concerns.
I am wondering if differences in chewing habits on both sides or if one side of the jaw appears more prominent are taken into account during the consultation. I would like to know if you simply assess whether the same amount of food is used on both sides, or if you make a different judgment after directly observing muscle movements. Would it also be helpful if I mentioned my dietary habits, such as whether I frequently eat hard or chewy foods?
My biggest question is about the changes I might experience when eating after the procedure. If the sensation of chewing changes, I would like to know what range of changes I should expect and be explained. I would also like guidance distinguishing between cases where I should simply wait to adapt if discomfort arises and cases where I need to consult the hospital. I am also wondering if there are any separate medical consultations required if I experience jaw pain or hear clicking sounds on a regular basis.
I don't think we should equate a consultation for cosmetic purposes with one regarding teeth-clenching habits or jaw pain. Would it be better if I explained my goal of changing my facial shape and my functional discomforts separately? I would also like to confirm if it would be better to receive other treatments first, if necessary. I do not intend to believe that a single dose of Botox can solve all my jaw concerns.
Please let me know if there is anything I should prepare for a consultation regarding square jaw Botox at the Mokdong branch. I would also like to bring a list of my previous procedures, dental treatment history, and any medications I am currently taking. I am curious about when the facial shape is evaluated after the procedure and how the next treatment plan is determined. I consider comfort while eating just as important as seeing quick results. I am leaving this question to get all the necessary information before the consultation.

Since I am also bothered by vertical wrinkles, I would appreciate it if you could provide a response regarding whether the consultation focuses on wrinkle Botox or skin Botox.320026.11.01

- 01CommentsSince wrinkles around the mouth are in an area that moves a lot when speaking or smiling, I imagine you are most concerned about whether your facial expressions will look natural after the procedure. The choice between Botox and fillers depends on the cause of the wrinkles, so I recommend consulting with a doctor to compare recovery times and lasting effects.440026.10.30
