Review of skincare items I intend to repurchase (Escape from being a skincare nomad)
I'm writing this post to share my holy grail products that I've finally found! Haha. I used to be a total skincare nomad, constantly searching for the perfect product. No matter what was said to be good, they always felt like they just sat on the surface or caused breakouts. But the ampoule and cream combination I chose this time after studying the ingredients is amazing. First off, I focused on strengthening my skin barrier. After switching everything to products containing panthenol and ceramide, I can definitely feel my inner dryness getting under control.
In the past, I used to think that expensive things were always better and stuck to department store brands, but it turns out that gentle, basic products suited my skin best. Haha. The barrier cream I bought this time, in particular, has a slightly thick texture, but if you warm up your palms and press it firmly into your skin, it absorbs completely. It makes me feel so satisfied when I wake up in the morning to see how soft and smooth my skin feels. Since using this, my makeup doesn't cake and applies well, so I get a lot of compliments from people around me saying my skin has improved.
What is your most important criterion when choosing basic skincare products? I used to be very particular about the scent, but now I feel most at ease with fragrance-free options. It’s actually quite fun to pick products while checking the ingredient list one by one. If there are any of you out there with sensitive skin and severe internal dryness like me, I’d love to recommend the combination I use. I would seriously repurchase this 200%! You all have at least one holy grail skincare product, right? Please share your tips!
