The COSRX One Step Original Clear Pad, the original toner pad and incredibly famous as an acne pad, is a product I am using with absolute satisfaction—to the point where I feel there is no better product for refining skin texture and caring for breakouts. I usually have oily skin that accumulates dead skin cells easily, causing frequent breakouts; however, since using this pad, I can really feel my skin becoming noticeably smoother and clearer. It is a must-have item for those with oily or combination skin.

When you open the product, you will find the pads generously soaked with essence, ensuring they remain moist until the very last pad. The pads feature a dual surface with different textures; first, gently wipe areas prone to dead skin cells and sebum, such as around the nose, chin, and forehead, with the textured embossed side to neatly remove fine impurities and old dead skin cells that remain after cleansing. Then, lightly wipe your entire face with the smooth side to hydrate and refine your skin texture, perfectly completing the first step of your skincare routine.

Because it regulates excessive sebum and cares for the pores, consistent use will definitely reduce sebum secretion and lighten blackheads and whiteheads. What I liked most was that I can perform light daily exfoliation without artificial irritation. Using it in the morning before makeup soothes rough dead skin cells, allowing makeup to settle smoothly without caking, and in the evening, it is great for a light second cleanse and skin soothing.
