This is a review of Biore sunscreen, which I am on my third tube of.
Biore UV Sunscreen, a must-buy item for trips to Japan and synonymous with moisturizing sunscreens, is the ultimate holy grail product for those who dislike the characteristic stuffiness and stickiness of other products.
What surprised me most when I first applied this product was its texture. Unlike the cream formulation of typical sunscreens, it has a light and moisturizing texture closer to a hydrating essence or gel. When rubbed into the skin, it applies smoothly and feels cool, absorbing instantly to leave a light and fresh finish, as if nothing had been applied at all. It is so full of moisture that it feels less like sunscreen and more like applying a light hydrating lotion on top.
Since it is a transparent type with absolutely no white cast, you can apply it quickly without looking in the mirror without it clumping or looking cakey, and it does not pill even when reapplied multiple times. Thanks to this, it is great for quick application during busy mornings, and I think it would be good for men to use daily without any hesitation.
Also, it gives off a subtle, natural dewy glow after application, so it’s even better because it acts as a booster when used before base makeup; it prevents the makeup from caking and helps it apply perfectly.
It is incredibly convenient that, despite having the highest SPF rating and resistance to sweat and water, it can be washed off cleanly with a regular foam cleanser. I highly recommend this product to those with oily or combination skin who are concerned about breakouts caused by the oiliness of sunscreens, as well as to anyone seeking light and moisturizing sun care all year round.
