Review of finishing my second bottle of Innisfree Retinol Cica Ampoule
I was really stressed out about my uneven skin texture and the red, pustular acne scars left behind, so I bought this Innisfree Retinol Cica Repair Ampoule after seeing a recommendation at Olive Young! I’ve already cleanly finished my second bottle and am opening my third because I’m so satisfied that I decided to leave a review haha. Retinol is known to be amazing for improving wrinkles and skin texture, but there are also many complaints about it being irritating, so as someone with sensitive skin, I never dared to use it for fear of a breakout. However, perhaps because this product is mixed with Cica, which is great for soothing, it is incredibly gentle—I can apply it day and night without any stinging or redness at all! The finish is also amazing; it has a watery and refreshing essence texture that absorbs transparently without any oily stickiness. After using it consistently for over a month, the vertical pores around my nose (butterfly zone) have tightened up, and the bumpy whitehead marks have faded, which really moved me. If you are a retinol beginner looking to manage your skin texture to be smooth, you absolutely must use this. I recommend it from the start!
