When the wind starts blowing strongly, my skin becomes the typical dehydrated oily type—the surface gets shiny with sebum while the inside feels parched. If I apply a heavy nourishing cream, my pores get clogged and tiny bumps pop up, but if I don't apply anything, the dryness drives me crazy. So lately, I've completely removed heavy nourishing creams from my skincare routine! Instead, I apply a very runny, lightweight hydrating essence or lotion thinly to my face, pat it in to fully absorb, and then apply another thin layer. I layer it a total of three times. Building up moisture thinly like this leaves my skin feeling fresh and oil-free, while perfectly resolving the tightness deep inside, which I love.
