When do I start to feel the effects of the acne treatment?

I just got an acne treatment, but it doesn't seem to be getting better right away, so I'm waiting.
I've heard that you need to receive acne treatments consistently to see results. I'm curious when people usually start to feel the effects.
I'm confused whether it's normal since they said it might temporarily go up.
I want to know when my skin will calm down or improve after an acne treatment.
