I'm worried about the side effects of Botox; will it be okay?

The effects of Botox seem good, but I'm a little scared when I read about the side effects.
I'm worried because I've seen posts saying that getting Botox incorrectly can make your facial expressions look awkward.
Still, since Botox is a commonly performed procedure, there is a lot of talk about it being safe, which makes me even more confused.
