Is the pain from acne treatment really unbearable?
Small bumps started appearing around my mouth and jawline, and now they have spread into hard, pus-filled sores that are driving me crazy. Squeezing them only causes bleeding and leaves dark scars on the way out, so I am seriously looking into lasers that completely destroy the sebaceous glands.
However, I saw some terrifying reviews saying that since it involves pricking with needles and shooting high-frequency heat, it is painful enough to bring tears to your eyes. I am such a scaredy-cat that I tremble even at dental scaling,
I am so curious about the intensity of the pain from this merciless acne procedure; I wonder if I might faint while trying to dry out my sebum.
If I apply a very thick layer of numbing cream and stay in it for a while, is it at a level where I can just hug a doll and grit my teeth to endure it? I want to get rid of the inflammation completely, but I am hesitant to book an acne treatment because of the pain. Still, if the results are guaranteed, I'm willing to grit my teeth and tough it out!
