Today was a day when my skin condition was generally poor. In particular, there was a noticeable increase in dead skin cells compared to usual, which bothered me even while applying makeup. It looked fine immediately after washing my face, but as time passed, the dryness worsened, and the surface of my skin felt rough.
Even though I applied my basic skincare products as usual, they didn't absorb well and felt like they were just sitting on the surface, making me feel even more stifled. I felt tightness whenever I smiled or made facial expressions, and the flaky skin in certain areas looked even more prominent.
I suspect that recent weather changes, lack of moisture, or a decline in my skin condition may have had an impact. I felt that today I need to minimize irritation and focus on sufficient hydration. For the time being, rather than forcibly removing dead skin cells, I think I should focus on skin recovery by prioritizing soothing and hydration.
