저두 관리 한번 받아보고싶어지네용
Sharing my recent procedure + care (feels more like care than a procedure)!
The dermatology clinic I used to go to runs a beauty salon together with them.
So I got a hydrating skin treatment and an acne treatment.
Revisited a few days after the extraction.
Recently, my skin has been feeling a bit saggy and dry overall, so after some deliberation, I went to a dermatology clinic to get a simple treatment. Rather than a major procedure, it felt like a light treatment aimed at "skin recovery + hydration," so I went without feeling any pressure. 🙂
Perhaps because of the changing seasons, dryness sets in even with just a good cleanse, and my makeup doesn't adhere as well as it used to. So, I consulted with a specialist to stabilize my skin barrier and replenish moisture, and proceeded with the treatment.
The treatment I received focused on soothing and moisturizing rather than a harsh laser, and the procedure itself felt comfortable with almost no stinging or pain. Cooling care was also applied intermittently, so I actually felt more like my skin was getting a rest.
There was slight redness immediately after the procedure, but it subsided quickly, and starting that evening, my skin definitely felt less dry. The biggest difference I noticed was the reduced tightness after washing my face, and the fact that my makeup adhered much better the next day was my biggest satisfaction.
Personally, what I liked was that it was a treatment that aided recovery rather than feeling overly stimulating. I found that this kind of gentle treatment actually suits my skin better when it is sensitive like it is these days.
After treatment, I apply a generous amount of moisturizer, and for the time being, I am taking a break from scrubs or harsh exfoliation to focus on soothing my skin.
