Is forehead Botox painful?

I keep seeing wrinkles on my forehead lately, so I'm considering getting Botox, but honestly, I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat, so my biggest worry is how painful it will be.

I’ve heard that it hurts more on the forehead than other areas because the skin is thin, and I’ve also seen reviews mentioning a severe stinging sensation when the needle goes in. I’m wondering if it is bearable if I apply anesthetic ointment before the procedure, or if I just have to endure it without any cream.

I'm also worried about bruising or long-lasting swelling after the injection. I heard the procedure is short, but I'm really hesitant because of the pain. If anyone has tried it themselves or knows about it well, please share your honest reviews. Is it something even a coward could try?
