Honest review of my recent Shrink Universe treatment (focusing on pain)
Hello everyone! How far have you all gone with lifting treatments? I finally bit the bullet and got the Shurink Universe treatment this time haha. To be honest, I'm a total scaredy-cat, so I agonized over choosing between InMode and Shurink. There were so many reviews saying InMode causes bruising, which felt a bit daunting for me as a working professional... So, in the end, I decided on Universe!
First off, regarding the pain, it was more bearable than I expected haha. They applied the numbing cream and I waited for about 20 minutes; since the procedure started while my face was still a bit dazed, it was just a slight tingling sensation. It was over really quickly, probably because it is definitely faster than the previous version of Shurink. I was really impressed because the director examined my face shape and meticulously focused on the deep cheek area.
There was a slight redness right after the procedure, but it subsided quickly after three or four hours. It's been about a week now, and I can definitely feel like my jawline is a bit more defined. The swelling seems less when I wake up in the morning too, haha. But I realized that getting the procedure isn't the end of it. I heard that hydration is really important, so I've been diligently doing a face mask every day lately. Does anyone happen to have any recommendations for a good regenerating cream to use after getting Shurink? I'm looking for one that isn't too thick, haha.
