My own routine that revived my skin breaking out during the change of seasons ㅠㅠ
Is this weather for real... It's hot during the day but chilly in the mornings and evenings, so my skin was the first to react. I usually get compliments on my skin, but this time, I was absolutely hopeless because I got breakouts and severe internal dryness. My stress levels went through the roof... So, I really set my mind to taking care of it for a week, and the results were pretty good, so I wanted to share it.
The very first thing I did was switch my facial cleanser! I used to like the squeaky-clean feeling, but it seems that was actually eating away at my skin barrier. I switched to a mild, pH-balanced cleansing foam and rubbed as gently as possible. Also, after washing my face, I didn't dry it with a towel; instead, I just patted it with a pad! It really doesn't seem like a big deal, but it actually makes a huge difference.
Next, I layered a hydrating ampoule. Instead of applying a lot at once, I applied thin layers about three times. I can definitely feel my skin getting plumped up deep inside. Finally, I finished with a modeling mask! Modeling masks are a bit of a hassle, but after using them, the heat sensation definitely goes down instantly, so the soothing effect is amazing haha.
