Once pores widen, don't they ever close completely again?

Maybe it's because I'm losing elasticity as I get older, but my pores seem to just get wider or stay pretty much the same.

I can remove sebum with home face masks, but it seems there are limits to how much I can actually close it, so I'm thinking of getting a treatment at a skin clinic.

Have you seen any treatments that really tighten pores? I've heard people recommend PicoFraxel or Rejuran a lot. Is that correct?

I'm also curious about how long the recovery period will be and whether I can use public transportation right away.
