For those of you who have tried Botox, what is it like?

I don't have much flesh around my cheeks and mouth, so my cheeks are on the thinner side, and I have quite a few nasolabial folds. I've never had Botox before, so does the procedure take a long time? I'm scared of going to the clinic, haha. I haven't even been able to get that common Botox. I understand that Botox usually shapes the facial contours and makes the skin look plumper, so I'm worried about the effectiveness and whether there are any side effects. I'm also scared of the pain, haha. It feels a bit burdensome to go to a clinic for a consultation just to get one shot of Botox, but I think there are probably a lot of people who are worried like me. Also, since I work, I'm worried it might interfere with my job, so I honestly can't bring myself to do it. Even when I read reviews, I'm not sure if they're actually true... Anyway, I'm thinking of giving Botox a try.
